Group & centre activities

Shared experiences, real connection — supported group programs for social, recreational, and skill-building outcomes.

Programs that bring people together

Group and centre-based activities offer a supportive environment where participants can connect with others, try new things, and build everyday confidence.

Because support is shared across the group, these activities can also be a cost-effective way to make your NDIS funding go further without compromising quality.

Common questions

What is the difference between group activities and community participation?

Group and Centre Activities (registration group: Group/Centre Activities) refers specifically to support delivered in a group or centre-based setting. Community Participation is broader and can be one-on-one. Both can complement each other in your plan.

How many participants are in a group?

Group sizes vary by program and activity. We keep groups small enough for everyone to receive adequate support and genuine connection — not just supervision.

How is this funded in my NDIS plan?

Group and Centre Activities are funded under Core Supports. Because costs are shared across participants, the hourly rate is lower than 1:1 supports — making your funding go further.

Can I try a session before committing?

Yes. We encourage you to attend a session and meet the group before making any long-term commitments. Contact us to arrange a trial.
